This new section is intended for anyone seeking some contextual background on how some of the key protocols for LTE are used.

We have cooperated with the makers of The SpecTools to provide free tutorial content on an on-going basis. It has taken a lot of work to get the Release 8 content ready and now the work will continue so that we can give useful tutorial content from LTE in Release 8, right through to LTE-Advanced in the future.

IMPORTANT Note: The SpecTool is provided by a 3rd party provider and is not a 3GPP service. 3GPP and aWaves Academy have entered in to a non financial agreement to supply free overviews of 3GPP specifications.
